Handcrafted in Seattle, this large vertical oval Mexican Fire Opal is framed in a bezel of 14K yellow gold and centered on Jamie's sterling silver groovy band. Named for its brilliant red to orange body color and mined in Mexico, Fire Opals are lighter weight than other opals and tend to have one body color. They do not usually contain the flashes of light and color typical of other opals, but this one-of-a-kind piece has flashes of purple and pink.
