Home Fragrance Obsession

Written by
I don't particularly love feeling cold.....in fact, I'm terrified of it. But I do love winter. I love the root vegetable stews that Denny creates in our giant red Creuset. I love leggings and boots and scarves and hats and hoods and ponchos.....all at once, of course. I love that good old smell of the heater when it kicks on after months and months of being left alone. And I absolutely love a great Diptyque candle burning in every room in the house. Sure, I burn candles during the summer......but my real candle obsession comes alive when I feel that first crisp winter air. It's instant classy, luxurious, sexy warmth. And you can only get all of those things from Diptyque. Yes, the investment might be slightly higher than your average Glade (yikes) or Yankee (barf and yikes) candle, but it's totally worth every single dollar. The scent is so pure and fresh, and the flame is so clean and inviting, that you might just fall under a tiny spell. In my home,  I have Cypress and Patchouli candles burning on regular rotation. It's like walking through a magical forest....seriously! And Pomander is the ultimate killer scent for feeling that holiday cheer. It's like bathing in all of the really good parts of Christmas. But my tried and true, the one I can't live without, is Feu De Bois. I encourage everyone to buy this candle and burn it and feel its power. Imagine that ideal hawt campfire scenario....flannel blankets, a goblet of wine, the perfect dog, stars......that is what this candle is! I'm telling you, it can't be beat.  And now it comes in a super sexy, larger, colored glass version. Over 90 hours of perfect campfire magic! Diptyque candles are not just candles. They are the equivalent to a fine wine. A necessary luxury.
